A Silent Mentor Passes – Dr. Wayne Dyer

A Silent Mentor Passes – Dr. Wayne Dyer

Dr. Wayne Dyer and Richard TurnerMany of you may know that Dr. Wayne Dyer passed in his sleep on August 30, 2015. Wayne was instrumental in leading people to “self-actualization,” reaching their divine potential. Writing over 41 books, many on the NY Times Best Sellers list, Wayne shared his unique insight of hope and love with millions worldwide. He was a gifted, generous human being.

In 2014, Wayne wrote me an unsolicited, personal note, warmly embracing my book, I Can’t Always See My Path…But I Keep On Walking. I include his entire note to me here so you can see first hand the generosity and genuine nature of Wayne. I treasure it.

I had the opportunity to meet Wayne a couple times since then, and it was always a blessing to be in his presence. He truly was an ambassador of love.

He was never shy about mentioning his many books for sale (and signing them for long lines of people). Wayne was my silent mentor in writing My Path, so I will continue to honor his memory with gratitude and love.

If you’d like to share your story of how Wayne influenced your life or if you’d like to leave a note of gratitude, you can share it in the company of others who feel the same way on his Facebook page. It’s a nice virtual gathering place to celebrate his life and work. Look under the “Visitor Posts” to see what others are writing.

Since my initial Facebook post about his passing struck such a chord with everyone, I want you to know that this Friday, September 18th, at 4pm-6:30pm PT, there will be a free, live, online tribute to Dr. Wayne Dyer’s life and legacy by his publisher, Hay House and other Hay House authors. More about that event is here.

Blessings,

Richard
